The only thing I question here is was Kane a bigger prospect then Hall at the time? Hopkins and Yakupov I'll definitely give you, but I think Hall was just as big of (if not bigger) prospect at the time. The only advantages Kane had I suppose is that he can play center and is American (which does work better in a market like Chicago).
If I had to rank them since Crosby draft it would go in this order in terms of hype:
Stamkos
Tavares
MacKinnon
Kane
Hall
Ekblad
Hopkins
Yakupov
Johnson
