The NFL needs to extend their season. Maybe that will help to keep some of the players from getting into a bunch of trouble during the off season.

No. My comment was primarily about Revis but there has also been a couple other minor incidents of players getting into trouble this week.

He doesn't need to be released, next year was his option and he has opted out. Kaepernick is a free agent.

Ah, I see. I understood it as he had the option to opt out but if he didn't the Niners would release him.

I hope Texans sign Romo. And for the love of God, draft and develop a quarterback.

Future NFL 1st-Rounder Deshaun Watson Trained To Pick Up Blitzes In VR

Recognizing certain plays is something Clemson’s NCAA champion QB Deshaun Watson, who’s projected to be chosen in the first round of the upcoming NFL draft, can attribute to his VR training as he spent 40% of his time in the immersive format learning how to recognize and pick-up blitzes.

Baltimore Ravens safety Matt Elam was arrested on drug charges Saturday night in Miami, according to Miami-Dade police.

Elam, a 2013 first-round pick, was charged with one count of cannabis possession, one count of possession of cannabis with intent to sell or deliver, one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of reckless driving, police said. He is currently being held on a $15,500 bond.

A search revealed a Gucci book bag on the floor of the driver's side that included 126.2 grams of marijuana, six oxycodone pills weighing 3.1 grams, $947, a Rolex, a men's necklace with white stones and a men's bracelet with white stones.

One of Elam's passengers, Calvin Stewart, possessed a loaded semi-automatic pistol in his waistband area. Stewart told police he didn't have a permit to carry a concealed weapon.

Clearly these guys skipped every class in university and their teams classes on how not to be a criminal.

Steelers have placed franchise tag on RB Le'Veon Bell, per source.

Antonio Brown deal: 4-year extension worth $68 million - 17M per year over 4 years, and $18.5M over 3 years. Tied to Steelers through 2021.

Vikings not picking up AP's option, so he's a FA. I wouldn't go anywhere near a 32 year old coming off a devastating knee injury, but the Raiders, Packers, Seahawks, Giants make the most sense as contender landing spots. Obviously Jerry is still Cowboys owner so they can't be ruled out either.

Jamaal Charles has also been released. Also wouldn't really want to go near him unless it's for a bargain basement price.

guy is a fumbling machine in the playoffs too. wouldn't touch him. Vikings should have cut him before this.

Chiefs sign Berry to a 6 year 78 million dollar deal 40 guaranteed. Very few players in the NFL are as deserving of a long term deal as Berry. He's that rare breed who never takes a day off.

Sad to see JC go. But that's life as a running back in the NFL. He's been a great pro, hopefully he signs with a team that he can still be productive with that's not in the AFC West.
