Will both games be streamed on the Flames website or only the one in Calgary? If the latter than I assume the Oilers will be streaming the other one?

They're not allowed to dress extra players in the preseason, are they? If not, that means that some of these guys are just there to be warm bodies available to play in case someone goes down in warmup.

yeah, why they have listed 8 defensemen for each squad is a little baffling
they either haven't decided yet, or there are a couple nagging little injuries at play

histirically I don't pay a lot of attention to the rOsters for these games, but, I can't say I excited to see a number of flames top end players playing - but I suppose they have little choice

Yes, with the definition of a veteran being any player who played a minimum of 30 NHL games last season; a goalie who dressed for 50 or played in 30 games last season; any player with a minimum of 100 career NHL games played; or a first round pick from the most-recent draft.
Obviously, the first round picks aren't actual veterans, but the rule is there to make sure that teams don't just send a bunch of no name scrubs to play in preseason games (especially on the road).

With Scrivens in net, we might walk away with a road win too....
Backlund had 3A in 3 GP on the Oilers last year
Bouma scored 3G / 1A in 4 GP on the Oilers last year
Colborne scored 4G / 3A in 5GP on the Oilers last year.
Granlund added 2G in 3 GP on the Oilers last year
