Well, they are already nerfing Bastion, so that mistake should be fixed soon.
And at least this tank looks good/useful. Sombra was a complete joke.
I genuinely like Sombra. Issue is her utility requires a lot more team coordination than pub groups even in comp will be aware of, which is the complete opposite of Bastion. He's overwhelmingly powerful on his own and teams can easily coordinate without speaking for the basic El Presidente strategy.
New tank is definitely interesting. Lots of utility but its frontline style will make it more obvious he's making an impact.
Sombra is good but you have to know your role. You need to make sure to hack the med packs near the objective and make use of your return to be near one. Then you can sneak past tanks and go after the other teams supports. If you get low in health to just use your return to heal back up. Rinse and repeat.
I am excited for the new tank but I don't think she has enough tools used in competitive. I'll definitely play here for a change of pace from other tanks in quick play though.
New PvE event released today. It's alright though pretty lacklustre overall as an event including the skins but I suppose with an event they came up with on their own without relying on holiday inspiration, it's a start.
In other news, finally hit masters. Time to take a bit of a break from comp.

Still really enjoying this game. If anyone wants to join up occasionally to play competitive, let me know via PM. I prefer not to solo queue just because there're so many headaches. I believe my SR is somewhere around 2,100 right now.
After learning Soldier, I've become pretty good at Rein, Hog, Pharah, and Zen. Now to Lucio.
People pretty upset with the event. Cash grab tactics, increasing legendary prices, locking down forum complaints about the issue.
The lockdown in particular is funny. Blizzard "acknowledges" the issue, forces all posts into one separate thread and never posts about it again. Everybody at Blizzard have now been MIA on social media.
