Nice to have a little breathing room in the standings but a win tonight gives them a solid 6 point lead ahead of the struggling Kings. Kings play the Wild and the Ducks in their next 2 before they play the Flames.

I don't mind Johnson starting tonight. He usually does well first game back after a rest. However, I would go right back to Elliott for Sunday.

The Kings just lost to the Bruins. If they fall flat against the Wild/Ducks and then we stomp them on home ice we could dramatically increase our chances at post season play
