Right. I forgot about Myers. Leafs are in a similar boat. Hoping it has minimal impact.

These are NHL players. The best in the world. They're already not reflexively taking bad shots. What a silly take.
Because there is an infinite # of scenarios between 100% clear look and 100% bad look. In those scenarios where it's not black & white - which happens in hockey - it requires more judgement from players in the spur of the moment.

I can't think of a player whose career was more derailed by covid without being forced to retire due to health complications. First he was brutal in the bubble, then he went out to Whistler or something against protocols, got covid, brought it back to the Canucks who then were absolutely decimated. He was then traded and bounced around the league until it looks like he was done.

Lauzon drilling Pettersson in the celebration is pretty sneaky dirty but great, haha.

I wonder if these playoffs are going to show (again) that smaller guys like Hughes and Pettersson are going to get worn down quickly.

The wheels are really coming off for Vancouver. This is not some mighty giant of a hockey club they are playing against. Again just 11 shots through two periods.

The Canucks are playing horribly and are always a step behind. I am wondering if the illness that took Myers out and has resulted in Silovs starting is making its way around the locker room because right now they are playing the worst I have seen them play in a long time.
