I had a "Two can dine" coupon for McDonalds. My boyfriend was going to come over, so I said I would walk to the McDonalds and get us dinner. I bought the two combos that came with the coupon. I think I got a Quarter Pounder with fries/drink and I got a Big Mac with fries/drink for my boyfriend. When I got home, he had called and said that he wasn't coming over. I ate both burgers and most of the fries on my own, because I didn't want to just throw them out.

Maybe you don't belong on Team Fat then Eat first, revenge, an afterthought.
McDonalds doesn't really keep well, or reheat well IMO, so I was really backed into a corner. Plus, I have a healthy appetite and wanted to eat that damn Big Mac. I mean, I earned it. I walked to McDonalds, there and back. That was about a five minute walk.

Root Beer floats. The key being to purchase premium Root Beer made with cane sugar. In fact, I've been trying to avoid all pops that aren't made with cane sugar. Try it and you'll remember what it was like drinking pop when you were a kid.
Of course I should be just not drinking pop altogether but that's not what this thread is for!

A small sundae at DQ costs like $3.50. However you can get two for $4. Why wouldn't I eat an extra sundae for 50 cents? The answer is that would and I do!

I love cream soda, but this was the one version I couldn't stand. It made me sad, as I loved (still love) their root beer in a frosty mug. I hate basically everything Crush stands for, but Crush pink cream soda is delicious. My favourite is the IBC cream soda we served at Jack Astor's. I think they have it packaged under the Jacks name now, but I'm pretty sure it's the same brand. I also enjoy the Stewart's cream soda that I see in grocery stores. I have no idea why I didn't like the A&W one, as it looked pretty similar to the brands I do like.

Yup , artificial world sucks. I Am A HUGE root beer fan . I even brew my own between beer batches. I have a .5%, a 3% and a 5% going right now. Phillips one is a 0% one but its very earthy tasting and the Madagascar bourbon vanilla and fresh winter green they use gives it a crisp clean finish. The caribou one is much more related to the more carmalized and citric acid commercially available rootbeers on the market but it redeems itself with a traditional .5% abv and 69¢ a can.
I really wish I could be rich and send everybody a bottle of the Phillips " Captain elctro intergalactic root beer. If your outside of Vancouver or Vancouver Island you can only find it in BC. For those traveling BC here are the outside locations.

Cream soda should not be pink. They can be more dark. But Crushes cream soda tastes so artificial. Real premium cream soda should use fresh vanilla bean.
