1130 AM MT is prime time in Europe. The point being that a later start for today's Canada game was unjustified in the light of the fact that Finland and Sweden are the big draws, and belong in prime time.

Tonights Finland-Sweden was 8 PM here in Finland, so 7 PM in Sweden and most of Central Europe. Pretty much prime time.

I'm on PDT so if the first game starts at 7 am here, it will be 5pm in Helsinki.
A 10 am start here will be at 8 pm Helsinki, so my guess is they are both good times in Europe.

You should pen a strongly worded letter to the IIHF imo.

I'm trying to understand the situation better. If it doesn't interest you, find something that does.

So I wonder how well either of these teams would do in the NHL?

Cheating commences. Embarrassing head-snap and glove to the mouth from Konecny there after taking a stick to the chest.

I can't stand all of the embellishment on high sticking I have seen in this tournament and the NHL playoffs. It is like watching football(soccer football, not NA football...)

Canada hasn't gotten a call from the refs since the Konency embellishment, so in a way it has kinda worked itself out.
