Is the the worst Flames natural center group ever? (Last 20 years)

I can only think of one comparable: when Jeff Shantz and Andrew Cassels were the Flames top two pivots.

Sad.

Very excited Grant.

One thing I would love for you guys to talk about is if Jay Feaster is indeed the right guy to rebuild this team if/when they actually decide to go that route.

Thanks!

I'd like to hear some talk on the future of the goaltending. Does Irving still have a place? How does Ramo pan out? Is it worth signing Kipper to an extension? Why has it been so difficult over the years getting a reasonable backup?

Here's a topic of discussion:

Name 3 Unique reasons why Jay Feaster deserves to keep his job at this point in the season.

I would advise some comic relief. Be funny.

Some discussion on what you think of the move to get ROR from a hockey perspective (not about the potential disaster).

Thanks to you and D'Arcy for doing this. I enjoy hearing both your thoughts and insights with Flames hockey.

fantastic show guys, I agree with almost everything. This podcast really tells you everything about the state of the franchise when optimistic guys like you have a hard time finding something positive.

Torn on the Bryzgalov proposal. I can see the appeal, but I doubt the Flames would do that.

Just finished listening....question for you guys.

If the Flames move Iginla, Cammy, Bouw, each for firsts then you go into the draft with 4 first rounders and you go into next year with a LOT of cap space.

Our own pick will be a Top 7. There is a chance that player is going to play next fall.

Now with the cap space if the Flames take on a big contract without giving up a lot of assets like Brad Richards or someone like that our line up wont be that bad.

Richards, Hudler. Glencross, Backlund, Baertschi, Top 7 Pick, Stajan, Stempniak, Horak.

We would also have in addition 3 first round prospects to add to Jankowski, Wotherspoon, and Gudreau.

I would imagine Ramo starts next year.

I talked about a Ottawa style rebuilt, but there is the Philadelphia model too. We can trade our assets for picks/prospect and then use our money to go into the FA market and plug holes and/or take on some contracts teams might want to dump.

Just a thought.
