But I really don't understand what's going on with that sharks team.

They're the oldest team in the league. Wilson has done a good job rebuilding on the fly and keeping their window open for as long as possible but they're time is coming to and end I think.

But really. Dime a dozen centre vs art ross winner. It was a bad call by him.

Monahan has the 7th most goals in the league among centres since he was drafted and 12th most points. Around him are names such as Tavares, Toews, Kopitar, Sedin, Bergeron. Lol, dime a dozen.
You've really mastered the art of the subtle troll job around here, haha

What an amazing game to watch. Tale of 2 games. Dominated the 2nd half and ot was lopsided. Draisaitl had a real solid game.

Yeah that was pretty ugly. Let's just say it's torture watching the Flames get swept and watching the Oilers win some playoff games. "The worst year" probably isn't accurate but it's rough

Rinne and the Preds' D (including shot blocking forwards) was spectacular...over and over, the 'Hawks generated nothing from possession, and got burned on a counter attack...

Most Oiler fans on this board join because of the Calgary off topic forum. It's a great community here and I don't think you come here if you don't love hockey one way or another. I enjoy the off topic talk here. Feels commuittylike!
I don't know how to handle myself for the playoffs. It's been 11 years. My wife (flames fan) has already yelled a bunch at my drunk ass tonight. Sorry guys.
|
Remember you climbed upon your high horse and accused some Flames fans of using mental gymnastics to arrive at a conclusion? Don't be such a hypocrite. Gaskal's posts are why you're here? lol that's new. "oh whoa is me, I signed up for off topic and got lured in!". Weak as water.
And I wasn't following but did you honestly refer to Monahan as a "dime a dozen" center? Monahan is no McDavid, few are, but try not to be so transparent. If you honestly think that you're either trolling or not too bright.

Torts has every right to ticked off with the no goal call. Fleury was outside the crease when contact was made and the Penguins defender guided the BJ player into Fleury. The BJs did the best they could going all out in game 5, Fleury played very well in net to close out the series.

He knows that, no doubt why he mentioned him having a solid game.

FML, stop witch hunting Weitz just because he's an Oilers fan. He's not being obnoxious except when you bait him, just leave him alone.
I mean, Christ, if you drive all the Oiler fans out now, you'll have no chance to mock them when they get eaten alive by the Ducks.

Same, woke up and put on DTMTS, and all the OT highlights were Oiler chances. Classic Sharks.

Taking a while to get to 5000

The Sharks big guns looked their age in OT last night. And Burns is having an awful series by his standards. Still, this is going 7. I can see the Oilers having trouble closing this one out.

They looked really good for the first half of the game and faded as the game went on. After winning the first game they almost looked like they spent the next two games resting for game 4. They are an old team that played a lot of hockey last season. They simply don't have the legs to put up a long stretch of solid play against a younger team. I give them credit for winning two games as I thought they would be lucky to win a game.

They are just not very good. The Sharks caught lightning in a bottle to get to the SCF last year, but in those games against the Penguins you could see that they were not on the same level.

Cut him some slack.
He's a "Jets fan" cheering for the Oilers on a Flames board.
Classic "cry for help" if I've ever seen one.
