Eight players were credited with two seconds of ice time in the game before getting ejected due to getting into altercations after the first fight had begun. The only two players on the ice to not get ejected, other than goaltenders Roberto Luongo and Karri Ramo, were McGrattan and Sestito because they were technically involved in the first fight.
What an epic day.
We watched this in Victoria with my family of Flames fans meeting my wife to be's family of Canucks fans for the first time.

I said it at the time and I'll say it again; top 3 Flames gif off all time for me. So much going on in those few captured seconds. Hartley dishing it out. McGratton holding everyone back. Butler sticking his nose up. Gelinas chewing down on his gum. Whomever it is on the top left snarling their teeth.
What. A. Game. A game that literally turned the team around and carried them to the 2nd round. I remember Burke's quote of not being all that impressed since every game seemed like a fluky 30 foot putt. But who cares. Some teams just have that luck as the season goes on, and this team was it. One of the most entertaining seasons ever as a Flames' fan. Say what you want about Hartley, but he will always be a legend in my books after this game.
