Trooper Shanigan was working with rescuers to find the property in an area with about 75 miles of back roads, but their GPS systems were unable to locate the house.

Apparently when the dog got the cops to the house it turned around and went back to the same intersection and waited for the fire dept and guided them to the fire as well.
I can't see someone's stupid Pomeranian doing this. I like real dogs, not ones where all the dog has been bred out of them...
And, if you own a little mop that barks, I have no apologies (gawd, I have so many friends with stupid little dogs...gah!)
I hate stupid little dogs too! I want a dog to be a best friend who could kick my ass if it wanted to (the article says Buddy here chased away bears!), not a surrogate baby that can be kept in a purse!
