Some highlights: - As a 15 year old, would take 3 hour bus rids after school to train with HV71's U16 team.
- Thanks to a strong performance on the J20 team, he made his SHL debut last year. However he was suffering from a fever he didn't tell his teammates or coaches about because he was so focused on making his debut.
- Was in contact with many NHL teams so some chance he would be drafted.
- As the draft got close to end he turned off the TV and went to his room, his sister then told him he got drafted and Calgary shortly called after that.
- Impressions of Calgary at Flames Development Camp: City is totally hockey. Never signed an autograph before and in one day had written over 100.
- Could not take part in the ice sessions because he had knee surgery a few weeks before camp.
- He expects to be on the J20 team this year with maybe SHL callup(s). His goal is to 100% make the SHL team next year. Wants to have played NHL games within the next 4 years.

Bump.
Sveningsson is burning up the Allsvenskan right now. He is tied for the league lead in goals. Which as a 19 year old in a men's league is noteable. The Allsvenskan is the 2nd tier league in Sweden, but nonetheless he is producing right now and many of the top producers in that league are many years older than he is.
Some buzz in Swedish media that he may be forcing his way onto the Swedish WJC team.
(Yes that is former Flames draft pick Henrik Bjorklund in the standings)

I had him ranked so much higher than the CP polls, but yet we still ranked guys like Shinkaruk ahead of him. Criminal.
