The kick in the nuts when the Flames pass the Oilers would be a much sweeter revenge. He was also the one saying that Johnny was a problem for Gulutzen and the Flames cause he missed the team bus in NY and had to take a cab to Central Park for practice.

Johnny has/had a problem off ice and it has led to a problem on the ice.
Hopefully, it is no longer an issue.
He is a great talent.

I caught part of the Oiler pre game show on Saturday evening. They were basically expecting Detroit to mail it in that night because thats what Oiler teams of the past did. Forget that Detroit despite their short comings are not a bunch of professional losers like those Oiler teams were.

If these guys didn't get McDavid gifted to them Cam Talbot would be tossing jerseys back in the stands as Hall and Ebs fantasized about another night plaing XBox in their pajama pants.

The NY incident was fabricated. Gulutzen defended Johnny and the cab ride from all the speculation.

The Oilers are only 4 points ahead of the Flames because the Oilers suck in OT/SO. The Oilers have 9 wins and 8 losses in OT/SO. If the Oilers had a better record in OT/SO they would be further ahead. I actually love that the Oilers have such an awful record in OT/SO. The Flames have 11 wins and only 4 losses.

Oilers fan who say that the Flames are where they because of the 3on3 and SO and in the playoffs that goes away need to look at the Oilers record in OT/SO. They should ask the question why are the Oilers are losing these games when they have McSavior on their team. McSavior was made for 3on3 and SO.

They wouldn't even be getting to OT/SO so often if Talbot wasn't standing on his head so much.

I think the focus also needs to be on creating civil wars amoungdt Oiler fans, especially if they achieve any level of success.

Are they a truuue fan? Tier 1 or tier 2 fan? Did they completely cash out on the team until they got McDiver? Let the lunatic fringe excoriate those who failed to wander through the desert of brutal cronyism until they were grifted a generational talent to
marginalize.

It is also enjoyable that you can't get in the door of that clown corp's new arena for under $100.

Losers.

The funny thing about the 3-3 dismissal by Oil fans is that the Oil are supposed to be this dynamic scoring machine with all the talent. Shouldn't they be better 3-3?

I still go back to the whole Chia coming on board and saying that he needed a year of evaluation before he did anything to put his mark on things.

To me that just sounds like, I'm going to let this team stink and get another high first round draft pick.

Is there a good sight that breaks down the overtime stats for teams and players.

In the bigger picture, Edmonton is where Calgary was supposed to be by now, well on their way to being a top-10 National Hockey League team with an long and bright future.
Spector is such a complete ahole.
Edmonton is where Calgary is supposed to be right now?
WTF is that even a thought in his pea brain? That after 4 years the Flames rebuild should be now top 10 in the league, ahead of the Oilers 10 year rebuild? Or was drafting McDavid the start of the 4th iteration of the Oilers rebuild, so it is only 2 years in now?
#### I hate stupid people.

See, I don't get this, since about the halfway point of the season, the Oilers have been basically a .500 team, which is an improvement on their previous 10 years, but just goes to show what a hot start can do for you.

To be honest after more then a decade of rebuilding and drafting incredibly high, for them to be where they're at today is actually really sad, they're a team that doesn't have much depth and doesn't have a huge amount of "Future" to get excited about, outside of JP, they're rather ordinary at best prospect wise.

And now the biggest problem is the addition of probably more then $20 million in payroll over the next couple of seasons, that's going to force them to further weaken their depth, and they don't have anything exciting coming up to fill in those losses.

So is this season a blip instead of an indicator of a long and bright future? That's a very real possibility, that the one thing that they craved in McDavid the new super franchise player that would lead them out of the woods, could also be the implement of mediocre future that the Oilers might be facing.

Spector said this to mock those who said the Flames were ahead of the Oilers' 10 year rebuild when we made the playoffs in 2015.

He is a pure troll. His writing has no value.

They had him on 960 the other day, and they didn't call him on his Johnny BS nor the whole Edmonton so far ahead article.

since Jan 1st the Oilers and Flames have essentially the exact same records (16-10-1 for the Oilers and 16-9-2 for the Flames)
