I didn't realize this was a best-of-five series.

Listened online.

Sweet! Things were looking bleak when they went in their big slump, but now they could pull off a pretty big upset. Awesome!

Shinkaruk deserves an opportunity with the big club next year.

Wow, Rittich made some beautiful saves in that game. He looked really good in that highlight package. He moves very well and stayed really square to the play. Game 5 is going to be one hell of a game!

Was able to catch the 2nd and 3rd periods:

- Andersson caught my eye. He is so damn smart on the ice and he knows where to be at the right times. Even though his skating isn't his strong point, his high hockey IQ definitely compensates.
- Rittich was fantastic in the third and is definitely the reason why the Heat are going to game 5 as he made 2 or 3 huge saves to keep the Heat in the game.
- Mangiapane will be a player in the NHL. He reminds me so much of Paul Byron with that never quit attitude and playing bigger than he is. Great game from him.

Looking forward to the game on Tuesday. Hopefully they can pull out a win!

With Rittich getting the playoff starts and playing well I can see Flames management looking at him as moving up in the fall

This is the question when it comes to Mangiapane's NHL career.

He clearly plays with bight, and he has a wicked shot. From what I can tell he keeps up in the AHL, but smaller players in the NHL have to be phenomenal skaters.

Based on last nights game, Kulak and Jankowski are the best players on the Heat. The line for chances at the NHL starts behind those two.

I keep thinking that that eat bread is a tiny player, but when I look he is listed as 5'10" 185lbs. His measurable make him bigger than Brad Marchand by 1 inch and 5 lbs.
