In case anyone's looking for something cheap - end of September (the 24th) to Mazatlan is only $1394 for two adults (all inclusive) at the El Cid Castilla (4 star). You can upgrade to the number one rated 5 star esort in Mazatlan (Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay) for only $2274. Send me a PM or comment here if you'd like more details!

I'm going to Dominican Republic December 3. I was thinking of surprising the GF by upgrading the room. How do you suggest I do this? Do I just have to wait till I get there? What are your thoughts?

Sorry for the late response! Your best bet would be to contact the hotel directly now and find out the cost to upgrade - you can wait until you get there but it's often more expensive. They used to do the whole "$20 tip for an upgrade thing" but it doesn't really happen much anymore.

If you PM me the hotel I can get the email address for you!

FFR just booked a vacation for us. She's quick, efficient and found us exactly what we wanted.

Contact her for your next vacation - we are glad that we did.

Can't say enough about how helpful FFR was in booking hotels for my son's hockey team for an out of town tournament and for booking a family trip to Mexico. Everything went off very smoothly and we had a blast.

Hi - sorry I am not anymore. I had to move on when Covid shut down the industry. Happy to answer questions or share recommendations though. I can also refer you to another agent I used to work with if you are interested. Just let me know!

I've had two TAs move on during Covid. Rather sad! Our most recent one was amazing too.

Would love to hear some recommendations of Travel agents. Especially looking for someone who is able to service more off-beat travel (ie, not all-inclusives to Mexico).
