Holy cow. Most of the GOP aren't even asking him anything. They're just lining up to make arguments in his behalf.
What the hell is the point of this? They're supposed to be each asking questions geared towards completing their investigation, but instead they're just acting like witnesses for the defense.

I love how Session keeps on giving quick and concise answers to GOP softball questions but goes to an incoherent rambling mess whenever questioned by a Democrat.
It's like this testimony was all rehearsed for once side.
The way Harris is treated differently than all of her male colleagues really appalling. Part of it is that she's really damn smart. Totally had Sessions on the ropes, and Burr rung the bell after letting others go well over time.

I've been thinking this for months, and apparently I'm not the only one. And it seems very fitting for sessions.... Like spot on, Sessions actually is this IRL, and probably loves the character as well not realizing it's actually satire.

Does anyone actually expect anything out of any hearings or inquiries in the US? It's all political theatre designed to give a sense of legitimate democracy. People just talk and it goes on TV and citizens feel a sense of accountability/consequence.
