I had no idea he was ill.
Somewhere, he's laughing with Rick James and Prince.

Well that came out of nowhere.
Rest in peace, Darkness.

My only knowledge of him was on Chappelle, and damn that was some of the best stuff from the show. Was it a secret he was sick?

No. He's just not super famous, so it's not something you heard about.

Saw him at the Laugh Shop a few years back. Didn't know what to expect from his stand-up, but he was great.
I just remember him telling the story of his wife (who also died young), and making it funny.
RIP Darkness.

Super sad to hear of his passing when I didn't even know he was ill. RIP.

I should have put these up also as I think that they are the funniest, in particular part two. In case you have no idea, NSFW:

I think my favorite line is "Yo, we just gave him some help!", but there are a lot of great ones!

It was a secret. Only his immediate family and friends knew.

Having seen his interviews the past 6-12 months or so, it was obvious he was very ill.
