Unless you've got wrists like Charlie Brown's Xmas tree, you should be able to counter the force of the air blowing and not have your hands ping ponging back and forth hitting the walls of the dryer - which, should not be covered with pee, feces, or pubic hairs unless somebody was using it to somehow dry their ass or style their pubes with it beforehand.
A little hyperbole but next time you see one go and look at how dirty it is from the inside. It is filthy and it isn't very easy to dry your hands and not touch the inside of it. Just nasty.

I don't understand why people are using hand dryers or paper towels. You are missing prime opportunities to walk out, wipe your wet hands on someone's face/neck/hands and say "I can't believe I pissed on my hands again". Then you finish drying your hands on your pants like God intended.

People with no job or real responsibilities telling someone (me) who has 2 jobs and goes to University what my priorities are and what I'm doing wrong. That grinds my gears.

Specialist's assistants/nurses who royally screw up major appointments and just shrug and tell you to come back in 3 weeks, on a date they've now had to double and triple book patients on because the dimbulb screwed up all the appointments RGMG. We were the seventh patient since 9 am to come in expecting to have their appointment today (our appt was scheduled for 11 am) only to be told the doctor wasn't even in until next week, so yeah, just go on home. Um, say what? There were 3 people behind us who were also there to see the same specialist who were just a wee bit pissed off. These appointments are booked months in advance, and hard to rebook.

We're fortunate in that I didn't have to schedule time off from a job to get to this appointment so while I'm miffed with the inefficiency and waste of 3 hours of my time, at least I didn't screwed out of work time and pay, like several others. By the time we got there, said assistant/nurse refused to come out and deal with the upset patients and the poor receptionist had to end up dealing with it, when it's only her job to check patients in. I felt quite badly for her, that she got dumped into the crap when it had nothing to do with her, really. Made sure to let her know that we were not in any way miffed with her and realized she couldn't do much for us, and that we were sorry she had to deal with the mess, instead of the coward who'd screwed all this up and now wouldn't face anyone. Felt like I should have gone and got her a coffee and Tylenol to deal with the headache she probably already had or would soon have, dealing with the mess.

Same assistant made another massive screwup a few months ago and sent out all these bloodwork requisitions to every one of the doctor's patients, for all these weird tests that they're not regularly scheduled for, resulting in a flurry of phone calls from hundreds of patients, to the clinic to find out what was going on. We got the new requisition the day before our last appointment, so we didn't bother calling and just asked the next day - Doc was so pissed. I imagine she's going to be crazy pissed now.

I don't know about puckluck, but the Costco we go to, that has those Dyson ones, it's not that they're hard to work so much as it's where they placed them in the washroom. They're directly behind the door, so you're getting nailed in the back every time someone opens it, so you practically have to hump the thing to avoid getting slammed with the door handle. Then you end up trying to avoid getting hit by the door so you're all squinched off to one side and you end up moving your hands and the stupid thing stops. It's kind of funny to watch, albeit annoying. We just try to avoid their washrooms altogether now, and find something somewhere else.

How is a 4 way stop sign hard to work?

They're easy to work, they have sensors. The reviews on them are terrible and people from all over the world complain about the same issue with them. The good thing is they are actually taking them out now in a lot of places and putting in the only one that works properly, the Xlerator ones.

Seriously dude? You think a mod would be able to verify that from a poster who was here like 4 years ago. I don't need to PM a mod. I've already confirmed it myself.

What other reason would someone hate it? It dries pretty good but the design sucks and if altered would be a great machine.

.

uhm yeah, actually I would assume they could.

Considering I registered with the same name I had during my previous incarnation, and it was posted in another thread by a mod.

But, I must be honest, please tell how you have "already confirmed it" yourself.

I am dying to know.

That is your failure as a dad, this is a key bit of information to pass on to your son.

Fair point.

It just is getting under my skin.

Going forward I will ignore him/her when those types of comments are made.

I got a warrantee on my TV at Future Shop, simply by telling them I'd buy it if they'd take the equivalent amount off the price of the TV. They got their commission, I guess, while I got the warrantee for free.

The mind recoils in horror, unable to communicate with the spinal column. Which is interesting because you can actually watch yourself behaving in this terrible way, but you can't control it. You approach the hand dryer and know that when you get there, you have to put your hands inside, or it won't work. But when you get there, everything goes wrong. Some angry blowdryerian shoves you and you think "What's happening here? What's going on?" And you hear yourself mumbling...

A pissed off Doc usualy ends up with the offending person looking for work elsewhere. In your case I do hope that happens. Incompentent asisstants should not be working in the medical field.

Had to return the 55" flat screen I bought on boxing day. The argument went as follows... "It's too big for the room!" So what? Besides I got a great deal on it". I lost the argument.

Guy behind was returning a 90" flat screen and lost his argument too.
