Big Brother 17
The houseguests are now posted with the premiere is next week.
I'm not sure if I like this season. Except for maybe the yoga wrestler.

Not much age diversity as most of the cast is under 26 years old. I realize they do this for ratings but it's more interesting when they have a diverse cast of players in 20's, 30's, and a couple of elder statesmen to play mom and dad.

The dentist looks like Joel McHale
Liz looks like the love child of Scarlett Johansson and Amanda Seyfried
Mildly amused that the only black contestant is a complete stereotype
Clay is gorgeous
The gay kid needs a makeover...what is with that haircut?
Not sure how I feel about all these twists. I guess it's because Derrick obviously had the game in the bag very early last season.

Maybe too many twists but lots of cute girls this time around and some pretty diverse personalities. Agree with above as the token black person is usually a gay guy or a totally stereotypical black women.

My favorite is the red neck asian guy. Boy did I never think I would ever see one of those.

Yeah that accent throws you for a curve. I hope he does well but he seems like he may be a victim of not being in the hot group.

I hope Battle of the Block doesn't last long, I don't know why they dilute the game with so many twists - one season without then would work well I think.
I got female Derrick vibes from Vanessa the poker player. She seems like she's gonna be a hardcore game player.
Also liked Austin, DaVonne, and Audrey. John the dentist is intriguing, seems like a completely different character from anything they've had in prior seasons.
Ugh at the Amazing Race people though. They seem like complete bores. I barely watched that season but they should have tried to get the nerdy physician and the crazy blonde chick because they're the only ones I remember.
A stereotypical gay guy is cast nearly every season but no one can be more annoying than Frankie last year.
The asian guy's accent is throwing me off completely. He's an asian Donny.
That long haired skater dude is getting on my nerves quickly.

Nah. He'll be the quintessential longer that thinks they're a part of the group when they aren't. That guy always gets forgotten until near the end

Seems like a good kid but he's probably never had a girlfriend and his awkwardness especially around women is probably going to creep them out and if he remains on the block I expect he's the first to go.

That Transexual girl, Aubrey, is pretty darn smoking hot. Good for her.
The surfer bro due is the worst. Wrestling guy seems to be just going along with his bro game but that was insufferable.

It's pretty annoying but if it bugs us you can imagine how the house feels. If surfer dude survives this week's eviction he better win an HOH competition as his days may be numbered.
What interests me is that last year like other years a group of males usually runs the house as the all-girls alliances always crash and burn because the women always panic and turn on each other. Aubrey has been preaching the "girl power" thing but it will be interesting to see if these women can actually stick together for once and go head to head with the men. I have my doubts as Da'Vonne is already turning on Shelli which is typical of why the female alliances always fail.

I think I'm going to skip this season. It doesn't seem too interesting and i've slowly grown out of BB lol. I never watched till the end anyways, I would always watch till the final 4 and then suddenly stop for some reason it has happened the past 3 seasons now.

Yeah, I rarely watch as it gets to the end. Less people in the house means they're solely focusing on 5 people to 4 to 3.. less storylines and I really don't care who wins.

Man Da'vonne is literally insane.
If she makes it past next week, I'll be pretty shocked.

She's far too emotional to play the game. I can't recall ever a bigger blow up over practically nothing. Outside of her hotness I like how cool and calm Jackie is as Becky was crying just being one of the four nominations and Da'vonne will cry if someone looks at her funny but Jackie is taking things in stride considering she has a chance (albeit small) at being voted out. It's funny but after 17 years you think people would learn but a week in and we see people making the same mistakes as always as already we have;
- the annoying show off (Jase)
- the loose cannon (Da'Vonne)
- the micromanager (Audrey)
- the social misfit (Steve)

I think Steve could go far actually.
Definitely agree with everything else though.
