Well 2011 may not be for you. I think what they have done, based on the demo is awsome. There were many minor tweaks and things cleaned up.
I am not a fan of the analog controls, though with the Flames playing last night, I didn't give them much of a chance, will try them again.
I went back to the same controls as last year and WOW!
- Player models are much more life-like
- Batter's swings are sooo fluid
- The pitching meter has been smoothed out
- Pitches seem to have later break, and especially the changeup, has more action to it.
- AT & T looks awesome, I didn't hit a jack into the Bay yet, but everything else looks awesome.
- The field seems bigger so no more line drives down the line that the OF cuts off just as your getting to first, more gappers and I even saw balls (plural) over OF'ers heads. That was a rare occurance in the past, especially on default settings.
- The commentary even got some work, adding Karros and they made a small attemot to make it flow better....though many see this as the biggest weakness in the game, I actually like it, but obviously would welcome an upgrade.
I only got through two 4 inning games last night, so I am sure there is a ton more.
Can't wait for March 8!
