I'm sure he's tired of hearing this, but seeing a post thanked by Bill Bumface still cracks me up.

I printed the pic I took off and hung it in my living room in a large print (3' x 4') format. Looked spectacular. I have since replaced it with a screenshot of that pic being thanked by Bill Bumface. Looks even better and it's quite the conversation starter.

tldr; Bill Bumface is a CP legend for changing is name.

Northern light detection systems forecasting high levels for tonight.

Thanks to an “impressive” solar explosion over the weekend, a dazzling display of Northern Lights is possible Monday night across northern Europe and North America—rivaling some of the best shows in years.

Too much light pollution.

I'm looking south and I can see them. Crazy. They are starting to fade though.

Can't remember the last time they were this bright even with the ambient light of the city. Calgary and Edmonton.

West of Edmonton

Edmonton

They are going off pretty good here tonight as well. About a hour south of Edmonton. They are covering the whole sky so I imagine they will be visible quite far south tonight.

I am out in Elbow Valley and they are incredible.

Sky is 360 degrees of towering lights that are flickering extremely fast.

Damn. I can barely see them from inside the city, but looks like a lot of sky coverage from what I can see.

Yeah, I can kind of see the waves of light. They are undulating really fast.

They have been great here tonight in the NorthWest. Different parts of the sky are especially brilliant every few moments.
