Tori Spelling RGMG. Like you the hell cares about her, and why is she always on television or on the cover of magazines?
Is she talented? No
Is she attractive? No
Has she really done anything in her "acting" career? Nope, aside from being on a television show that ended decades ago.
Is there any viable reason why anyone should care about her? Lord no.
So why is she so over exposed? I always thought it was because she's Canadian, but then I see her being covered on some of the American networks, and for the life of me I can't understand why. Is it really all due to Aaron Spelling being her father, is that it?

That is both a naive and untrue statement. History matters - in general, if you are a crappy poster, your posts will likely continue to be crap, and if you are a good poster, your posts will likely continue to be good. If you somehow manage to get banned from CP, it isn't because your posts are so fantastic that the mods are jealous and want you to go away and be brilliant somewhere else.
Mostly returning posters get found out, and called out, because they go back to the same annoying habits they had before they got banned. Some manage to reform themselves. Most don't. If you don't want to be "unfairly" characterized, don't get banned in the first place, and don't come back with the same junk in different packaging.

Working in I.T. I go to various businesses throughout the day. One business I spend two hours a day at, each day. GMG's when you go there, you're really not a member of the staff, but everyone is in a super bitchy mood and they have so much turnover that it feels like an awful place to work and I get dragged into it, two hours a day. Seriously, they update the staff list almost weekly.

There was one, but then it stopped working. When I reported it no one came to fix the problem.

My tenants trying to pay rent with Visa, then trying to guilt trip me about the interest they will pay on a Visa cash advance. Its frustrating because they seemed like such a good couple to rent to. I lose for having expectations above terrible.

How much tetanus shots hurt. The reason I needed the tetanus shot didn't even hurt as much as this! I'm used to IM injections but geez this one is still sore 36 hours after. I told the nurse to put it in my left arm, which is the side with the broken collarbone. What does she do? Puts it in my right arm before I could correct her.

Yes, this. I sliced a chunk of my finger a few years ago and they gave me a tetanus shot along with some stitches. The tetanus shot & the 24 hours afterwards were far worse than the injury to my finger.
On the plus side the shots last for 10 years, so if find yourself in this situation again you're good for a while.

Employees Grind my gears sometimes.
"hey, just so you know I love OT, so hit me up whenever you can".
"Okay everyone, I need 4 guys to work OT tonight"
"There's no point, the government takes too much whenever I work OT. You gotta understand how it's not worth my time. If I work blah blah blah hours OT then I'm only taking home this...blah blah blah"
It's like shut the F up and either take it or don't. I'm fully aware of how we're taxed in Canada, I live and work here, too. Don't say you want OT and then give me a lecture about how worth it OT is when I ask you if you want it.

OT isn't taxed any differently than regular time. I've never marked down my hours of work on my tax form. (although I'm typically salary)

Depends if you are close to the next income bracket, a little bit of OT can push you over.

This is what it is with my guys. I understand their frustration, too. It sucks to work 20 hours OT on a paycheque and only get like a couple hundred bucks.
But my gear grinder isn't with their frustration, it's with all the whining when they're the ones the ones that asked for it.

What is this paid overtime you speak of?
- Almost every salaried employee out there.

Overtime? I know of no overtime.
I do however know of working an extra 4 hours one day and then deciding "You know what, I'm going to take a whole day off to make up for it."

haha, that's what I try to explain to them when they whine about it. I tell them after working OT on an hourly wage, you're likely taking home more money than a lot of people in the office here, who have more education and experience, AND they end up working just as much OT as you, but only take home their regular salary.

Why does this matter? Whether it's taxed at 32% or 36 it's still more money.
