Suggestions for DVD to iTunes software converter.

Having used Videora iPod/AppleTV/XBox360 converter for years, and being thoroughly disappointed with the problems inherent with the software since 5.4, and the developers complete lack of interest in fixing them, I have jumped on the Handbrake bandwagon.

Handbrake is hands down the best freeware DVD ripper and file format shifter if you use iTunes as your media library.

I have been thoroughly defeated. Everything I have tried to get subtitles or closed captioning to rip has failed miserably with Handbreak. I Googled "Handbreak" + "subtitles" and I've seen claims that it can be done, but I follow the instructions and nada. Anyone been successful with this?

I haven't tried because I have no real need for subtitles, but maybe I'll give it a shot this weekend with Bon Cop Bad Cop.
