Five straight wins.
I like this team. And now my exams are over for the weekend!
Celebration time!

Also, Derek Ryan played a grand total of two seconds last night. Love it!

The Preds ran out of gas early, posting less shots in the final 40 (7) than they did in the first period (9).
So, the shut down by our back end was clearly key, but we'll give an honorable mention to special teams for going 2 for 6 on the PP and shutting down the Preds during the single PK we had to kill. Wish we played a disciplined game like this more often.

That's what happens when you dress 25 players.

I didn't do it on purpose
Anyhow, a win is a win. Five in a row. Just three(?) points out of the playoffs once more!

What a disaster. Preds are going to make some deals and blow things up (like its not already blown up!). Inquire within as we attempt to turn things around.

PK Subban led the way with a Gordie how hattrick during his 2 goal 1 assist night. Tarasenko and Hanzal also stepped in with 3 point nights as the Pens won their 3rd straight to stay afloat in the tough Eastern Conference race.

The sim is really picky. If there any errors in lines it does weird things like dress everyone in the AHL.
I wish it was better at that.
I will say that my general observation is that teams that consistently and accurately do their lines perform better than those that don't.
But errors happen and when they do the sim goes f'n nuts with the line-ups.

Oh, I'm not complaining.
Just glad to get the win, and I'm currently prepping for tomorrow's game.

The misspelling/mistyping of a legend should result in some sort of penalty from the league office. Respect the game Goffie.

I can't figure out the "unknown player" error/glitch. I had it all last year and it started up again after this latest version was downloaded. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I haven't been able to get rid of it.

it is also related to sim errors where you are
- not using the most up to date roster file
- trying to dress someone who is injured
- dressing too few/too many people

Penguins 5 - Coyotes 2
Coyotes have gone cold last week, 2nd period was close.
However the Penguins scored 2 goals on 6 shots in the 3rd Period.
Not the greatest game for the Coyotes Starter.
Game Notes
General Fight at 7:07 of 2nd period
P.K. Subban beats up Kyle Palmieri at 7:07 of 2nd period
3 Stars
1 - Vladimir Tarasenko (PIT)
2 - Martin Hanzal (PIT)
3 - P.K. Subban (PIT)

I also think that losing to the Caps should result in some kind of penalty as well. :-)
