Default Anyone ever gone to a game in Anaheim?

I'll be in the LA area at the end of March or early April. There is a possibility I may be in town for the April 4th game against the Ducks.

Has anyone here bought single game tickets for Anaheim? Where is the best place to do so?

Any other thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

Bring every single "good luck" charm with you. Rabbits foot, lucky underwear, etc. During the whistles, pretend to be cleaning the bad juju away out of the air with an ojibway dream-catcher.

We went to a Flames game in Anaheim during our honeymoon in 2013. We just bought the tickets off of Ticketmaster -- pretty reasonably priced and it wasn't even a sell out game. Nice arena. Was a little bit tricky to find a cab after the fact, maybe call ahead before the end of the game.

When I went we got tix ahead of time on Tickemaster also.

On the other hand I just had good luck on an online reseller in Vegas for a Stones concert, and I imagine it would be the same there.

I went and saw a game in LA and Anaheim against Philly when I was in California about 5-6 years ago. I just got them on Ticketmaster.

There is a good bar/restaurant with valet parking across the street,we bought tickets online beforehand, but struck up a conversation there with a nice older couple that brought us down into the lower bowl to sit with them in their extra seats.Lots of "vendors" hang out at the stoplight outside the bar with tickets,if that is too much adventure for you, just grab some off of Stubhub or Ticketmaster and grab them at the willcall window.Nice place to see a game, too bad it's going to suck for a Flame's fan...

Stubhub will usually be good. Just keep in mind they don't show all the fees until the last minute these days.

The arena is quite nice, except for the love affair with the 1970s orange shag colour.

I Stub Hub'd and it was cheap. I had to go to a hotel to pick them up though.

Be ready for annoying fans.

I bought mine off ticketmaster. If you can do the LA game on the 6th you'd probably enjoy it more. The fans are better and more involved and the arena is way nicer.

When I went there were people selling tickets on the corner near the arena but I don't know if they had single tickets.

I went to one game a few years back and that building is the type of building that I would hope the Flames would emulate if they ever get a new building constructed.

Really? It's not that great of an arena IMO. Looks nice but it's pretty squishy in there even without it being packed.

Not a fan of the Honda Center at all and hope the Flames build something much better.

Edit: I've been to about 12 NHL arenas and aside from the old Rexall place, the Honda Center was the worst one I've visited.

Stub hub or out front if your cool with buying from scalpers. Also its not really close to DT L.A so i suggeset grabing one of the many hotels near the arena. Hey maybe go see Mickey while your in the neighborhood 🤗

I have seen a few games down there, beautiful area in and around the rink. It was a kick the first time to see all the vintage Mighty Ducks's style jersey's from the original movie from the 90's.

You can try the box office at the rink for tickets or you can try StubHub on the day of the game. The Flames aren't exactly a big draw down there so there should be lots of tickets available.

Everytime I have seen a game down there I have pre-purchased tickets since I would see a game in LA before or after the Ducks game. In LA it's a little harder to get reasonable seats these days for cheap ever since they won the Cup. I remember going to a game in 2007, 4 lower bowl seats, 4 beers, 4 hot dogs including parking for $79. The game had 7000 fans and they were playing the Ducks just before the playoffs when they won the Cup. I ended up ordering a few extra beers and the vendor gave me some crazy price, almost $50 for 4. Said they were "imported from Boston" Classic

Yeah, I'd certainly hoping we aren't looking to emulate a 24 year old arena.

It's very nice visually, but the design is terrible. The concourse is small, and it's not a good arena experience at all. I certainly hope the Flames build something just as nice visually and a much better design.

There's a place just across the street from the Honda Center parking lot that sells tickets too. Got club seats there for cheap.
There is a bar at one end of the rink where they sell lots of different beer and you can watch warmups from the Flames end by standing at the railing (which is where the wheelchair seating is), as long as it hasn't filled up yet.
The fans were mostly really friendly when we there. They were all just saying they hoped we'd beat the Kings on the same road trip.

Make sure to get there early...long lineups to get through security if you're closer to game time...missed a good chunk of the first period when I went...(which, given the history, probably wasn't that bad of a thing to have happened...)

I bought a single ticket in Anaheim a few years ago. I bought my ticket from Ticketmaster and thought it was a reasonable price.
