Refs miss another. Mustafi was tripped in the box for sure

Don't have too many problems with the straight red. No need to take the risk whatsoever.

The best of both worlds, that's a penalty, too bad he was offside. Perfect summation of the refs.

Poor Burnley. Offside, underserved penalty in the 8th minute of 7 minutes of stoppage time on the road. Handball in the last minute to lose at home.

The linesman misses the offside AND calls the penalty.

I guess Diego Costa has finally composed himself after being "rattled" by that Chinese offer. Back in the squad and on the scoresheet. If not for that Arsenal penalty it'd be a near perfect weekend for Chelsea.

Don't know if anyone else saw this collision today, but now Ryan Mason apparently fractured his skull and underwent surgery. He is said to be in stable condition.

I see the sensationalist #### show which is somehow still calling itself a "newspaper" has removed the inconsiderate "fighting for his life" headline now after Hull released their statement. It's something I guess ...

Speedy recovery to Mason.

Technically, it was a booking rather than a sending off. It was definitely reckless and needless but it was neither dangerous nor violent, which are the criteria for a red in this case.

Another way to look at it, are you allowed to kick someone in the head as long as they are offside?

It could be a red card but i don't think it could be a penalty kick because the offside happened first. Only one infraction can happen at one time in soccer.
For example if you trip me and then I go and kick you in the nads, I would be sent off but the free kick still belongs to my team.

Yes it is. He's Brazilian and in Portuguese, the J is pronounced that way rather than the Spanish H sound; see Jozay Mourinho and Juninho for example.

Brazilian Portugese the J is pronounced as a H

e.g. Honaldo, Hivaldo, Honaldinho. Hio de Janeiro.

West Ham should take notes and learn from Burnley.

Haha, West Ham was too cheap to pay that and yet they're a big club?

The reaction by Costa after the goal was priceless.

Conte handled that whole situation so perfectly.

The head clash that injured Mason was nasty. Really surprised Cahill was up so quickly.

Liverpool looked about as dangerous as van Gaal's United chasing a goal.

Zero creativity.
