He and Ehrhoff are the best 2 D on the UFA market, followed by Franson & Sekera. I think it would be fairly difficult to sign any of those players without breaking the bank.

I've always liked Franson, but there will be a huge bidding war for his services.

Free agency will be interesting. I wouldn't mind Erhoff at all honestly, and I think he'll be the cheapest of the lot.

Erhoff will likely get to choose more than the others. He collects extra cheques anywhere he goes and he's fairly versatile so he really could fit anywhere
