Meh, good luck to him, but damn you for handcuffing the team by the end of your tenure. Obviously he has a right to do so, and agents exist for this very reason. He also owes nothing as us to fans, this is his life to control. Sucks from our perspective, but we also reserve the right to boo his ass. I am thankful though that he at least was upfront about wanting to leave and didn't pull a Gaudreau 11th hour scam.

Had Conroy gotten a better return, then sure I'd be cheering for him. But as of now he's just another ex-Flame who'll get a 30 second clip on the jumbotron when he returns, but then will be forgotten by next season.

I'll be annoying for a second, but between guys like Fox, Gaudreau, and Hanifin, I've had enough of Americans who don't appreciate how great of a franchise the Flames are. Tkachuk at least had the decency to be direct, but it's another lesser example.

I wonder if there will be another CBA issue with Americans bolting as soon as they can from Canadian teams. Doesn't seem to be a level playing field these days unless you're Toronto or maybe Vancouver.

Came to post this, but you said it better than I would have

Yeah sorry. Given how he handcuffed the Flames I'm not wishing the guy any luck.

Doesn't he usually play like crap in the playoffs?

This is my concern also. But I won't put the cart before the horse. I'll wait until Coronato is a regular in the lineup before I start worrying

The GM is from New York state and a key leader in that room is from Texas.

Hopefully Vegas gets swept in the first round, Hanifin plays horribly and then no one wants to sign him for more than 5M. (what a world we live in, when "only" getting $5M a year for 7 years is considered punishment for being a dick!)
Haha aren't you the guy who calls me out for hating Tkachuk for the same reason

Who would’ve thought that of all the recent American born Flames players, Blake Coleman would have ended up being the most beloved and loyal to the team

I'm happy that a fellow golf nut gets their wish, and they can play year round. Congrats Noah. Maybe you'll learn to putt better than Whitney.
