Thank You Noah Hanifin, take out the Oil
Say what you want about how all this shook out, as a player it’s his right to move on and at least Conroy traded him for assets! All that say it’s pretty incredible for a dman his age to be closing in on 700 games and he really was looking as good as ever. Cheers for the fun Hanifin!

No offense, but based on some of the rumors of how his agent was sewering deals, I'm not wishing anything good for Hanifin. Seems like it really handcuffed Conroy in getting the best deal possible for the team.
I'll be annoying for a second, but between guys like Fox, Gaudreau, and Hanifin, I've had enough of Americans who don't appreciate how great of a franchise the Flames are. Tkachuk at least had the decency to be direct, but it's another lesser example.
I wonder if there will be another CBA issue with Americans bolting as soon as they can from Canadian teams. Doesn't seem to be a level playing field these days unless you're Toronto or maybe Vancouver.
