Tarasenko had full NTC.... Edmonton was never in the mix.

Holland bidding against himself.

Not a good sign.

If this is true makes me feel like Hanifin isn't Florida's top priority

Dreger says it's a done deal.

edit: beaten by Scorp.

Nice trade for Florida. Really solid team, top to bottom.

Yeah this takes them out of the Hanifin game. No picks, a bare prospect pool.

Lundell 1 for 1 for Hanifin would be a major loss for the Flames.

Hanifin was never their top priority. Zito was on a podcast last week (or around then) and only talked about wanting to add to his top six forward group.

Which is probably also why any mention of Lundell was a pipe dream.

Does it take FLA out? Don't think so. Lundell 1 for 1 for Hanifin is still a W .

Frankly, I'm getting tired of this crap.

Hanifin has an 8 team list. Its a 32 team league. I dont care where he 'prefers' to go, I care who is giving the Flames the best return that isnt on his NTC list.

I dont want to trade him to Florida or Tampa or Boston just because thats where he wants to go. If they dont have the assets to make it worth our while then too damned bad for all involved.

I DGAF if they trade Hanifin to Admiral Vladivostok as long as the Flames get some real assets out of it. Maybe a battlecruiser we can park on the Bow or a supply of fresh fish.

Could argue this could increase the chance of panthers being willing to move lundell.

It gives then another top 9 forward option.
They could move Luostarinen to 3C and have solid wingers throughout.

Two mid round picks

I don't think this takes them out of Hanifin

There is no "...this crap" except within people's imagination. Conroy is simply going to take the best offer on the table be it a place that Hanifin wants to be in beyond this season or not.

I would rather have Tarasenko than Lindholm for the playoffs

Canucks got ripped off
