It's a shame about the result, but considering the injuries not bad.

Would have been nice to get TV coverage for the PNC games they played, beating, USA, Tonga and Fiji.

Still the new deal with TSN is a good thing.

Pretty great run and pass by the guy that took the hit too, held it as long as possible.

Lions 23- Diggers 21. Beale slips on last second penalty attempt. Lovely way for the hosts to lose.

Tough for Australia. Backs were dropping like flies all game.

Both teams scored some beautiful tries though.

Goes back to WWI in reference to the Gallipoli campaign where General Sir Ian Hamilton told the ANZAC commander General William Birdwood to "dig, dig, dig..." The odd Brit (and myself) use it to somewhat pejoratively refer to Australians. Kiwis get a free pass.

The last step was awesome, too bad his dad couldn't get by security.

If the Lions win, Gatland will get knighted. If they lose - without BoD - he'll end up like Guy Fawkes!

I am pulling for the Wallabies. That country has produced some great players, and the best centre to ever play the game.

I think the Lions will keep it tight, and Wallabies are going to try and run the big pack around.

What an utter dismantling. I've rarely seen one pack totally dominate another like the Lions did today. It was a sight to behold. Outside of a nervy few minutes either side of the half, the Lions looked like lions today.

I felt from the beginning of the tour that this result was extremely possible. I didn't really rate this Australia team. They looked like they were out of answers today.

Biggest Lions score (41) in a single test. Halfpenny - Man of the Series. First tour victory since '97. Fantastic result.

They certainly deserved the win. The Lions looked a a true team, they were invested in each other, which I think has been missing from some past Lions tours. Aussies, have some amazing players, but they are not a team. I think Deans has worn out his welcome. Aussies, need to sort out their tight 5 it is sort.

I can't believe George Smith came back, he could hardly stand or walk. He is a monster. Sadly the rest of the Aussie back row could not stand up to the test.

Great game shows the highlights of what makes this the greatest game in the world.

Congrats Lions.

Canada U-20 go 3-0 in nations cup. Great to see.

Canada has confirmed their appearance in Sunday’s championship game but their opponent has yet to be decided. The United States (1-1) and England (0-2) will face each other Wednesday. A victory by the United States will propel them to the championship game while a loss would leave a three-way tie between the remaining nations.

This weekend the WCQ begin for Canada with a game in South Carolina against the US. Canada should win this total points series which concludes next weekend at BMO field in Toronto.

I think that the game is on TSN2 beginning at 4:30pm MDT on Saturday.

When we win we are in.

Interesting note, a Calgary boy Nick Blevins in starting @ 12 for Canada.

Plays his rugby for the Calgary Hornets.
