I went Arnold because his tool set suggests a given for pro hockey in some capacity, which is a pretty nice thing to say for guy #12 on the list!

Sieloff I love but want to see his season after last year's debacle.

Had Kulak and Knight in mind as well.

Still trying to figure out when new 2nd rounders come into play.

ARNOLD!!!

"Come with me if you want to live."

I picked him for pretty much the same reasons as Bingo. He's going to be a mix between Joel Otto and Stephane Yelle.

Going Ferland again. I really want this guy to turn out well as he provides something we don't have a ton on.

was a toss up between arnold, ferland and kulak for me. I went with arnold.

i'd love to vote for some dmen soon, but i just think the flames prospect base is very forward heavy. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the depth at forward in the pool be moved to increase the defensive prospect base in the coming year or so.

I went Kanzig. I think he's going to turn a lot of heads and I think he has a shot at developing into something that this franchise really needs.

I'm surprised that Kulak is getting votes but Culkin isn't. For me, it's hard to separate the two of them because they are so close in virtually every category.

I fully admit that Kulak and Culkin are not getting the attention they perhaps deserve from me because I just don't know much about them. So I am not sure when I will vote for them because there are other prospects that I know more about that seem deserving of the 12 to 15 prospect spot: Arnold, Sieloff, Ferland for example.

Kanzig and Ferland are the guys with the biggest boom/bust potential.

Knight, Agostino, and Arnold are the safest bets to be regular NHLers.

Many of the rest, like Gilmour and Sieloff, are good prospects, but not good enough to be safe bets and highly unlikely to be impact players.

I think Knight is the safest of the safe picks. He's a replacement-level NHLer already. He's unlikely to be an impact player, but so is everyone else left on the list, and Knight is better than they are now.

I almost voted Arnold for the 2nd round in a row, but I looked a little closer at Kulak's progression and the reports from the development camp. I think he's close to pushing for an NHL job and adds a big shot from the point and some solid offensive instincts. Arnold is a prototypical 3rd line center, which is good, but his offensive progression only marginally increased and a lot of that was due to playing with Gaudreau.

Also, Kulak seems to have separated himself a little from Culkin. Still like both, but Kulak is a nose ahead for the time being.

We are also at the point where someone could pick anyone on the list who isn't a bottom of the barrel prospect like Carroll or Harrison and I'd be like "yup, makes sense."

Going with Knight as he had a pretty solid first season in the NHL and I see him making the NHL as a bottom 6 player and faceoff specialist.

Picked Sieloff, but could have picked one of Ferland/Smith/Van Brabant easily.

Kulak looked like a veteran AHLer after coming up from the WHL at the end of last season. He has to be ahead of Seiloff after Seiloffs lost season. As many have said he has pretty much mirrored Brodies development up to this point so far and has a shot at becoming more than a bottom pairing Dman going forward.

To me, the college crew (Knight, Agostino, Arnold, etc) are gonna be nice pieces for Addy, but none of them will make a long term impact in the NHL. Not anytime soon anyway. I'd play Bouma and Reinhart over any of them as young bottom 6ers.

Sieloff, but Arnold, Kulak and Smith are all right there. It sure is nice to have 15+ prospects with a solid chance of making an impact at the NHL level. I just hope we're willing to eat some contracts if these guys prove more deserving of playing time than guys on multi-year one-way contracts.
