Voted Jankowski and leaving these here.

Still didn't want to go through game sheets, however I made the assumption that the respective team's goals/game didn't change without the player (i.e. I divided the previous plot by the percentage of games the player played).

Still not perfect, but the results should give a clearer picture.

Sieloff for me.

I think he has potential to be a great defenceman... If everything works out right for him.

Voted Jankowski as well. Just noticed Ortio went from 30 to 9 - what a huge jump! Arnold, Agostino, Knight, Sieloff and Ferland still on the board as well...

If Sieloff hadn't been off for nearly a year he'd probably be gone in this poll already. Love the way he plays.

Don't think any of the guys left are good bets to have more than a cup of coffee at the NHL level so went with Hunter Smith who I think if he can put it all together has the highest upside left.

It was between Arnold, Sieloff and Jankowski for me but picked Mark.

Hard choice between Jankowski and Sieloff. Went with Sieloff, there seems to be something about him...if he stays healthy, he might be a mid-season callup...

Figured it was time to give Jankowski a vote. It's weird in that he was drafted three drafts back but he looks like he's one of the prospects that's the farthest away. If the Flames have the patience to wait him out it's probably going to take another 4 years before they truly know what they have.

Voting for Wolf now. I think he's the most likely guy on this list to step into the lineup next season.

Going with Sieloff here. I think he's going to be our fear monger on the back end.

Went Janko.

While I think it's a long shot that either him or Sieloff reaches their potential, had to choose Janko as I see his potential being greater (top 2 center vs 5/6 dman).

Sieloff's ceiling isn't a 5/6 guy. He won't be a #1/2 d-man, but his potential is certainly a top 4 player. Not saying he'll get there, but I wouldn't say if all things go perfectly he's at best a bottom pairing defenseman.

The big Jankowski for me.

Sieloff was close here and I have no doubts that he would have been way further up had he played last year. He will get my next vote regardless.

Sorry but not a chance. Find me a top 4 defenseman who's season record for points is 11, going all the way back to bantamn. I'll save you time, there isn't one.

Even being able to get the puck out of your zone like an NHL calibre prospect should get you 12 points a year in junior, the ushl, or bantamn.

This is without even factorting in the guy's awful injury luck....

jankowski for me. I have a feeling he'll have a bit of a coming out party this season and put up 1st line center points for his club.

Going back to Ferland. I think this is the part of the prospect base where it starts becoming a total crapshoot.

it is definitely something really interesting.... Can a dman who has never shown the ability to put up any points, at any level, ever become a impact D man in the NHL (even a strictly defensive stay at home dman at that)...

If seiloff didn't get hurt, and played back in windsor last season, would he have gotten some points playing in a more predominant role among that d corpse?

Had to vote Sieloff. Jankowski just isn't putting up enough points to pick him yet.
