Ok. So just to quell rumours...UFA Devin Setoguchi will not be signing with #Leafs. Down to pair of teams in East, neither is Toronto.


Have to figure one of those teams is Carolina as they are looking to bolster their F depth.

Flyers' Timmonen is being treated for blood clots found in his lungs and right leg. Hextall is quoted as saying it could be long term issue

Speculation is the Flyers may turn to Del Zotto as a stop gap measure until Timmonen is healthy.

I'm not sure they have the cap space, even if he went on LTIR.

They are currently $3m+ over the cap, pronger is $4m and Timonen is $2m, so that would give them $3m in cap space, Wideman is $5m+.

He qualifies for the Schultz/Wheeler "loophole" if he decides to leave after his 3rd NCAA season and become an UFA on June 1st.
