While browsing downtown condos I came across this listing. I am not sure why I have never seen it before but here it is:
Listed with "Ace Realty"

Which photo is your favorite?

I wonder if there is some legal requirement for the person to have it for sale, but they really don't want to sell. I know when a bunch of us were renting a house in Winnipeg our landlord had it for sale. We were told to accommodate realtors who wanted to show the property if we could, but not to put a lot of effort into making the place ready to show.

My favourite showing was a "last minute" showing; buyer's realtor gave us less than an hour's notice. Since we were still in the house the potential buyer asked me if there was anything wrong with the house that I felt I should point out. Yep, I showed him everything.

The CFLs in the exposed bulb fixture really set the place off!

It may or may not be the listing agents own property and it may or may not be one of these discount/budget listings CP has discussed

The SUV should be on fire for maximum effectiveness. In fact, why is that pic missing from your page?

That pic is on the listing C3224515 on realtor.ca

Perhaps the agent updated his photo and my site updated quicker?

I don't know what this means, and I can't find any threads that would seem to fit that topic. Can you explain and/or link to the previous discussions?

It seems like you have an issue with Discount Brokerages.

Care to elaborate?

Nothing against them - its the consumers choice.
Just feel the need to educate.

Discount brokerages survive by bashing full service brokerages while full service brokerages don't bother wasting their time.

Listened to a unfortunate story today -
Someone saved over $20,000 in commissions and was excited
Realtor for the area ran a market assessment
Seller sold for nearly $100,000 less than market value

Working with a CP member right now who has interest in a property. It has been comical as I have to deal with the seller directly. The seller has no idea why he is not getting any showings or the property hasnt sold. This property should have sold months ago with a couple minor adjustments. Instead the price just keeps going down

It's still for sale but the seller dropped his price $110,000 and is now asking$289,000 for a 1200SF condo.
