CP Rent-A-Goalie
I figured I'd start a place where us goalies can hang out and look for work. I know there's been plenty of times I've gotten frantic phone calls asking if I knew anyone else who could play net and I've posted here looking.
Basically all you need to do is post when you're available and what level of goalie you are. I'd rank them as the following:
A-High level of competitive
B-Mid level competitive
C-Low level competitive
D-Non competitive
I'd rank myself as a C level guy. I rotate shifts, so some weeks I can play during the day before one pm and other weeks I can play after 3pm.
Anyone else feel free to post and add your name to the list

Isn't there a website for Calgary rent-a-goalies? My roommate and and another friend play goal and have told me about it...

There is, but I'm of the understanding that you have to pay for the goalie. I'm merely offering up my services to other CP members if they're stuck for a guy to play between the pipes

This would be something I would be interested in as well. B or lower, highest level I play is petroleum rocky league at the moment. Free weekdays from 5pm on and free weekends as well.

Can you give an example of each different level (Junior A/B, AAA, AA, A, etc.)?
I'm probably an A, but it'd be a good idea to clarify the system.

Well I figured high level was enough. But I'd imagine if you've played any sort of competative hockey into your teen years, you'd be at a higher level. Any sort of Jr would probably qualify, or if you win goaltending awards in division a hockey...that would qualify

I forgot to mention they are only 36 members away from 1000 and the 1000th member gets prizes of a bunch of different things from free goaltending lessons to a few other things.

There is a chance I may need a goalie for our game Wednesday, Feb 4th.
Apparently our goalie may be getting suspended but the league is dragging their feet a bit in letting me know what's going on. I'd like to have a back-up ready just in case (not an actual back-up on the bench obviously, you know what I mean).
If you are free at 10:00pm at Oakridge arena Wednesday night, let me know.

somewhat desperate :/
I'd say I'm a A/B level of play. I'm available anytime for the next couple weeks and I really want to get back on the ice. I'll need a ride.
