Why would Thorpe replaced Kevin Glenn and put Tanner Marsh on that play? Sutton was doing great running the ball and Glenn haven't make a lot of mistakes today. Instead of 4 points behind, Als are still 11 points behind. Dumb call.

It pretty much screwed them up... after that Glenn was jittery and couldn't complete a pass.

Yep that's true. Terrible reffing tonight too. Questionable roughing penalty on Knapton that gave the Eskimos an extra 15-yards. Next play they scored a touchdown on a wide-open Walker on the end zone. There was no whistle for stoppage and Shaver wasn't even down yet. Knapton just want to make sure he doesn't get more yardages so he hit him. Then stupid Noel Thorpe replaced Glenn on a one-yard line. Why not let Sutton run the ball to the end zone since he's been having great success tonight. Marsh fumbled the ball before he hit the end zone. I don't even think he got hit. Too ticked off to watch the replay so I am not sure. It feels like the Eskimos were getting lucky to win in their last 3 games. They were down in the 4th quarter against BC and same thing QB fumbled the ball on one yard line. Last game vs Saskatchewan, they were down but Riders collapsed.

Exactly. Don't forget that game in Winnipeg where the Bomber kicker missed 5 kicks.

Ouch. Grey Cup starting corner to out of a job.
Stamps nominated the following as their representatives for CFL year end awards:
MOP: Bo Levi Mitchell
Defensive: Deron Mayo
Lineman: Spense Wilson
Canadian: Junior Turner
Rookie: Tory Harrison
Special Teams: Rene Parades

Argos end the disaster of Rogers Centre with a victory over the Bombers. Screw you Rogers and how you treated the league

Too bad. I like Buddy Jackson and I thought he started off well in the season but his last two games he was getting beat and was guilty of bad penalty on the sideline that almost cost them the game. Not sure what is the extent of his injury and wondering if that is the reason he was let go or something else.

In only their second season of existence, the RedBlacks have done something no Ottawa-based CFL team has ever done: Win 12 games in a season.
In fact, they're the first Ottawa CFL team to win more than half their regular season games since the 1978 Rough Riders went 11-5. The 1992 Roughies were the last Ottawa team to even hit the 0.500 mark (9-9).

Hats off to Ottawa Redblacks organization. From 2nd last in the CFL to 1st place in the East. I am very happy for Henry Burris, Rick Campbell, Brad Sinopoli, Jon Gott, Mo Price, Shawn Lemon and all former Stamps players in that team. Management did a heck of job assembling that team this season. They knew the problem last season was the receiving crew so they added players like Chris Williams, Brad Sinopoli, Mo Price and Ernest Jackson. Their defense are much improved too but their special team sucks. I hope to see them play the Stampeders in the Grey Cup.

Popp to return as coach in 2016. Bad move by Wetenhall... great for the CFL. Espically the East. Popp is one mediocre coach.

Doesn't look like Cornish will be ready for the West semi-final - Makes the acquisition of Messam by Huf at the trade deadline all the more important.

Couple of updates:
Hufnagel said MLB Juwan Simpson was ready to roll, as is WR Jeff Fuller. Hufnagel said Fuller would be competing this week to get back on the field Sunday afternoon.
Edit: Also Tim Brown is back practicing and looks like a decision has to be made on him or Skye Dawson for the West semi-final.

Bo Levi Mitchell versus Henry Burris for CFL Most Outstanding Player - Pretty sure that Hank takes this one home, the numbers don't lie, he had a fine regular season with the REDBLACKS.

Tsoumpas has joined the team strictly for practice purposes.
The Calgary Stampeders have added national offensive linemen Dimitri Tsoumpas and Gord Hinse to the practice roster.
