Just looked at the CFL schedule, if Edmonton takes the West, they will be off for three weeks as they have the bye for the final week of the regular season. Plenty of time for rest, but also plenty of time for rust to creep in as well.

I don't think the Stamps should have too much concerns if they have to face them in the WF whether in Calgary or Edmonton.
Stamps DB was giving the receivers way too much space so all Reilly had to do is throw the ball to the open receiver and let them make plays. Stamps DBs plan was to let the receiver catch the ball and tackle them right away.

That Defence drives me nuts. Guys always wide open. just play a bit closer and make Reilly make a mistake. Allowed Reilly to get rid of the ball quick and avoid the pressure.

Als absolutely stomp the Argos.

Only in the CFL could a QB lose his job on a 2-12 team, get traded for peanuts and then start two weeks later and put up almost 300 yards and 3 TD.

Saskatchewan is no good.

No, but they're a million times better than the everyday uniforms they wear that look like something a college team would have worn in the early oughts. Stamps wisely updated a few years ago.

The key to beating Edmonton is getting to Reilly quickly and often, which is not easy because despite having a bad knee he's great at avoiding the sack. Reilly is a master at throwing good passes on broken plays which is what always gets other teams in trouble.

Get to Reilly, force him to pass quickly and the sacks will pile up, and so will the interceptions.

Of course, if you're Saskatchewan, you need to go back to basics like how to tackle.

Is it still believed that Juwan Simpson will be available for the playoffs? I know he's recovering from a broken clavicle, 6 weeks should be right about the date for the West semi-final.

Egads, we could be looking at Cornish, Simpson, Hughes all gone for the year.

This in addition to Harrison, Craighead, Erdos, Caron, Charbonneau-Campeau, Burnett, and maybe Bennett and Federkeil.

Pretty ridiculous the injuries the Stamps deal with year after year, yet still manage to be a top team and perennial contenders.

He does but that was a big win by BC. Looking like the Stamps and Lions will play two weeks in a row.

Why in the world was Hamilton going for it in the final minute? You aren't likely to score points anyway, and if you failed, easy points to Ottawa.

The last two games had become a best of two, total points scored wins.

And certainly a long FG try on the last play to only lose by 3 would have been better than trying to get into the end zone.

Kent Austin will probably have a 5 point lead in the last minute next week, and kneel to end the game.

BS roughing penalty on Knapton. Shavers of Eskimos was not down yet and still trying to make some plays when Knapton hit him. Haven't heard the whistle yet. Edmonton scored a TD after. What a crappy call!!

There goes the Alouettes. Looks like their defense just folded. It doesn't help when the ref keeps throwing flags on them.
