Agreed. The goddamn liberals are so smug when they point out that Trump was sued by the federal government for discriminatory practices. It's so divisive and self-righteous to acknowledge this reality. Just let it go people!
And it was very disingenuous of the bleeding hearts to raise such a ruckus when the now-president was bragging about sexually assaulting women. I mean come on, that's so divisive!
These are accusations you can never come back from, clearly. Other than being elected president of course. That's not a bad comeback. But other than that, if MSM accuses of you of being any sort of "ist", you are finished!

It was a crap choice either way in all honesty and the outcome was assured with such terrible options, a divided populace.

Yeah, we're not going to agree at all.
You think she's the most corrupt ever? Wait until 3 years from now (or less).

It's really the fault of the infotainment organizations, like Breitbart, Buzzfeed, Fox News, Mother Jones, etc, that have completely normalized heavy partisanship under the guise of trustworthy info sources. So when someone who is used to Alex Jones sees something on a major network, they're so brainwashed into thinking their way of thinking is normal and acceptable that center-oriented news organizations suddenly seem "left leaning" and "unfair."
Funny how quickly the right became a mirror image of everything they pretend to hate about the left.

If you are playing PC games and pandering, pretty safe to say you are definitively left of the centre. Where does the CBC slot on the spectrum? Can you name one mainstream media source that is unbiased and "decidedly" in the center on most issues? Also who decides and how?
You don't know where I get my news so don't speculate. I try to look at it all and then apply the cui bono principle.

So does every accusation carry the same weight as a conviction? The law seems pretty clearly defined in this regard.
If you actually listen to what he said on the bus recording, (which he was joking and didn't know he was being recorded on) consent is implied, they let you. Wow you people are so disingenuous with your antiquated pre-packed talking points.
He got elected because people with sense didn't take these accusations that seriously. Call me crazy but I think that might be what courts are for, to validate these accusations and punish those guilty parties accordingly.

Here's the thing, I agree he should show his taxes. However, if he was avoiding paying the IRS don't you think somebody as high profile as him would have been thrown in jail? Why would he get a free pass?

Military spending should be debatable, I know it's portrayed as a right wing philosophy but it requires tax dollars, small government shouldn't have a need for a large military. Leftist States spend large sums of money on military also, so you can't say that's just a right wing thing.
Regulation means government oversight and entitlements. We see the government pass more legislation then we see them get rid of right?
I was asking what definition of middle ground should we use? The Bolsheviks are almost more right then any political party in Canada, Socialism isn't it awesome!

Tax rates have declined significantly, especially to the very wealthy. It is an outright lie to say that they are now being taxed more, look at the tax rates in the United States in the 1950s and 1960s (use 1960 as an example).
Over 1.5 million (in 2013 dollars) was taxed at 91% in 2013 it was 39%.

Some pretty scary s--t going on right now in regards to the North Korea situation.
http://www.rollingstone.com/politics...andoff-w478201
Quote:
What makes the current moment particularly worrisome is that the leaders of both countries can be described almost identically: rampant narcissists and ultra-nationalists with bad haircuts who love to play with military toys. North Korea, an inward-looking military dictatorship, has for decades exercised a fondness for rattling its sabers. Now, the Trump administration is doing the same, mobilizing an "armada," warning that "the era of strategic patience is over," muttering darkly that "all options are on the table" and demanding that North Korea hand over its nuclear capabilities – or else.
Three previous administrations have faced the North Korea challenge, and those tensions rose and fell during the Clinton, Bush II, and Obama eras. But all three leaders to varying degrees were predictable and at least sat atop mature, expert-laden governments. In contrast, Trump is mercurial, wildly unpredictable, and is not only utterly inexperienced in the nuance of diplomacy, but ignorant of even the coarsest outlines of how the world works. He's given the Pentagon free rein to use America's vast arsenal with little or no White House oversight. And Trump has left the State Department in Foggy Bottom, led by former Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson, as vacant as a ghost town.
|
Quote:
None of this inspires much confidence that there's a strategy behind the White House's bluster. And what little confidence there might have been wasn't exactly given a boost when the White House lost track of an entire U.S. aircraft carrier battle group. On April 9th, The New York Times, citing the Trump administration, reported that the United States has "ordered an aircraft carrier and several other warships toward the Korean Peninsula in a show of force."
Trump himself, in a televised interview with Fox Business News, couldn't contain his almost childish glee:
"We are sending an armada, very powerful. We have submarines, very powerful, far more powerful than the aircraft carrier, that I can tell you. And we have the best military people on earth. And I will say this. [Kim] is doing the wrong thing."
Asked if he might order those forces into action, Trump said, "You never know, do you? You never know. … I don't want to talk about it."
