Another center! Replaces Stajan after he should've never played a shift after that Bieska hit.

Never heard from Hartley why he got sent down, he just got dumped out of the blue, with a supposed explanation forthcoming, but never did. Hopefully comes back up and proves Hartley wrong....and as injuries mount the Flames don't have much choice.

But that's 3 callups...one left?

Good. Another young centre. He has to be on his last chance here, if he's displaying the same attitude that got him sent down in the first place, Feaster might only offer him a three year extension instead of five.

IMO, he should have been one of the first call-ups after the trade deadline. He may not have put up big points down here, but he was the biggest difference maker each game. He was a real pest.

Probably here as an emergency call up, so we wouldn't have burnt up our last of four call ups.
Baertschi is also with the big club on an emergency basis as well.

9-15-1 from my quick look since Feb 17.

Looking back at the words when he got sent down, they wanted to move Comeau from the wing to C and in Hartley's words "build around Comeau".

So happy Blair Jones is back with the big club, if he will play like i know he can then we'll see him here next year.

Maybe the reason he got sent down was because he just didn't get along with Iginla or Bouwmeester.............. straws anyone?

Well, last chance for him. He really hasn't been that great this season with Calgary (and keep in mind his FO% was against other 4th liners), but I thought he was pretty good last season, with some small stretches where he was decent. He really COULD have been so much better this year, but wasn't.

Let's hope this was the kick in the butt he needed. Getting waived and having all 30 teams pass on him was a wake-up call, and according to PLL above, he did put forth a lot of effort down in the Heat. Hope it continues from now on!

On a side note - it is great that although he had some sort of 'issues' on the team, and it looked like Calgary was giving up on him, it seems they are also giving him a second chance based on his performance (and also probably his attitude) from his time since on the Heat. Nice to see Calgary allowing someone to come out of the 'doghouse' so to speak.

I hope he makes the best of his second chance as I doubt he will get a third.

I like this kid. Hopefully he takes full advantage of this opportunity and does everything the coaches ask of him. He's not a superstar, or even a top six guy, but he can be a valuable bottom six guy IMO. You need them too.

You never go full Comeau, Here's hoping CLB learns that lesson.

Not that he is a game changer in his own right but that's when the team's center depth went down the toilet so it's no wonder it coincides with the team having a poor record. Comeau at center was just a stupid idea and I expect better from my head coach.
