Fram was bad most of the game. Elson, BVB, Wolf, Klimchuk, Carroll were all good.

Wolf has a great game and great entertainment value, therefore please make the NHL team out of camp...

If he ever makes the Flames, I think he'll become a fan favourite.

“@AAVickers: Lots of David Wolf coming your way. Scored in his #Flames debut, but didn't come away entirely happy with his first game in over four months”

“@AAVickers: Wolf: "I felt slow and I wasn’t in the game so I was thinking to myself ‘I’ve got to start throwing the body around and get into the game'."”

“@AAVickers: Wolf (cont): "I think I got better into it in the third. The important thing is that we won tonight. It was a good team effort."”

Never saw a second of the game, but love Wolf's comments. Really interested to see how he does in training camp.

Default Flames vs Dinos

Was there.

Elson was our best F. Fast as hell, smart and great hands.

Klimchuk looked ok, don't agree with previous poster that he was one of best F tho.

Disappointed with Arnold and Agostino.

Carroll looked good.

Smith was ok but definitely needs to work on skating.

BVB is a big guy and very effective but didn't do anything special IMO.

Wolf is a beast and was a better skater than I thought he would be. He doesn't go around guys-he goes through them. Not the smartest player tho.

On D Ramage continues to look great.

Fram was serving up pizzas into our high slot.

Gedig surprised with a decent performance.

Kanzig looked mediocre hockey wise but man is he mean and huge.

Kulak and Culkin are the same person man they could be brothers. Paired together, look similar and similar styles. They should be a good pairing for Addy this year and I actually came away feeling pretty positive on them.

Bring on main camp!

anyone else think we're going to have a battle between Ferland and Wolf for the 13th forward spot?

Really? Was it an important thing that they won? Probably the only game this year where that statement isn't really true. Although I guess this shows that he has pride (and/or knows all the hockey cliches).

^^ pretty sure any athlete will take the wins one day at a time and build off of it.. Cmon it's his first game in a flames uniform, id say that statement rings true for a huge chunk of that roster.

I'd be pretty embarrassed to lose that game as a Flames prospect... I can't imagine where something like that would happen...

The CIS hockey teams are usually made up of older players with ECHL or other pro experience. They often beat the rookie teams. No slight if they do - there are some good players playing CIS.

Almost all of the Dinos team played WHL and a few played ECHL. They are good hockey players.

The game was overall pretty even until the 3rd, when the Dinos tailed off and the Flames took control. My friend made a good point - this is probably the first game scenario of the year for the Dinos, they are likely out of shape.

That U of C Dinos goalie was pretty good last night. His first period was great. I think even Martin Gelinas was enjoying his performance. Sat relatively close to him.
