Gazdic is very good at fighting, but I do not appreciate his style.
For me the guys who turn thier back to the opponent and then launch haymakers are a little...hesitate to use the word "cowardly"...I just don't like it.
McGrattan looks you in the face while punching.
Maybe it is smart to try not to get punched in the face, but I'd prefer if Gazdic would trade blows more.
Really like to see Bordeleau v Gazdic II. See if Gazdic can do it again.

Not when Big 'Ern smashes the visor with his fists of steel and then proceeds to feed him his teeth.

Anyone that had less than 25 games before the start of last season has to wear a visor. It's the same way they brought in mandatory helmets, veterans didn't have to wear them but all new players did.

The thing I love about Grats is he's not only the toughest guy in the league, but he's not a donkey on skates.
Man works hard, has decent skills, and isn't a total liability when he's out there.

yeah, I think a list that doesn't include Chara is a bit suspect. Lucic and John Scott as well.

Couldn't they just undo the strap? Make them easier to "fall" off. I don't know the exact wording of the rule. I know a few guys both took there helmets off at the same time to ensure they both sat for equal time.

Surprised not to see John Scott on the list. To be honest, not sure the two have fought ever. Will have to investigate...

Gadzic is not that great of a fighter. He spent 4 years in the A and was just a middle of the pack guy.
Then he comes to the NHL, gets a fishbowl and starts beating the top guys and we're supposed to buy that that's his fighting ability? Joke. Don't get me wrong, he has to follow the rules but once enough heavies come up who are actually good AND wears a visor, Gadzic will be Darcy Hordichuk v 2.

I disagree. I'm sure he'd ditch the visor if given a choice. He's a gross Oiler, but he had some good scraps and was one of the few up there that could stand up for his teammates, rather than just waiting around at the bus stop as the rest of the Oil got pushed around all over the ice.
He's no McGrattan, but the guy can throw them for sure.

Gadzic has good power and his style is a bit different. He tends to go to the head and body and would wind up from way back and throw bombs. If one connects he can knock lot of people out with that force. With that said the fact he as the visor and the other guy do not is for sure an advantage. Would be interesting to see him and Orr, without the visor.
I don't believe Scott and Grat fought before. I don't think they looked at each other last year in the Buff/Cal game.
