Avengers Infinity War and End Game, what they managed to pull off might not be done again for a long time. To a lesser extent X-Men Days of Futures Past

Actually in many ways the Phantom Menace and prequels were highly regarded and preferred to the originals by the new generation in that age group. JarJar aside, they stand up pretty well, especially with all Faloni's fill in work on Clone Wars and Rebels.
The prequels were pretty good movies if you only consider the plot, the cinematography and the special fx.
But as soon as you hear the dialogue, witness the acting (which if funny given the quality you get out of most of those actors in other media), or consider the lore that was being updated the whole house of cards tumbles. For a long time it was almost unimaginable that someone could take a good product like Star Wars and make something worse. But The Rise of Skywalker proved there is always a bigger turd.

Yep, ask my daughter...and EP 3 is legit a good movie IMO
Has she been psychiatrically tested for sanity? Might want to think about it.
Wait...she isn't NadalFan is she??
I watched all the Star Wars movies for the first time before episode 7 came out. I really like episode 3 a lot not a huge fan of episodes 1&2 but don't hate them. I will say I prefer the prequel trilogy to episodes 7-9.

I wasn't a huge fan of the show at the time, but for those who were i have to think the South Park movie overdelivered. The first song nearly killed me.

Thats a really good one actually.
I have such fond memories of that movie, my mom taking my friend and I to the theater and the ticket guy:
"You have to stay and watch it with them...its 18A"
Mom: "Not a fataing chance. They have permission but I'm not watching that s###."
"Okay..."
And my mom doesnt swear, almost ever.
But yeah, the South Park movie? To kids my age at the time? I almost died laughing.

Sometimes ppl need to suspend their political ideology or moral compass and just take a movie for what it is.
Last Samurai is just a re fresh of other white man gone native movies.
Speaking of, Dances with Wolves was hyped to heck and it overdelivered too.
I'm glad that I don't have an allegiance to a political viewpoint strong enough to impede me from enjoying a piece of entertainment that happens to incorporate different perspectives.
If anything, adopting a fictional character's perspective for a couple hours is good for you to see things from another side of the fence.
It's good to play around outside of the box you live. Helps you to gain a broader perspective of humanity. I love that art/entertainment allows us to do that, without demanding any kind of association from us.
And that's also what Disney doesn't grasp these days.
Making their new iterations of classic films politically-motivated, ultra-progressive and diverse and trying to distance themselves from the original films that depicted different cultural attitudes is just eroding away the whole point of going to the movies. It's to escape - not to a carefully catered universe that doesn't hurt any one's feelings. It's to escape into a good story, political warts and all. And story comes above all the other ####.
Whoa, tough call between that and Team America? It was so good that when I saw Rent a few years ago all I could think of was the scenes/songs from that movie. So good!

Okay, well the past Disney movies were awesome for white, straight, able-bodied people, yeah, but it's hard to find fault in instilling in young kids normalization of diversity.
