I might just be completely missing a link here, but tied in points with the Oilers and having 34 ROW compared to their 31 should put the Flames above them right?

I think GP goes before the ROW. If Oil lost tonight, then flames would jump I think.

Just listening to Bobcat's PTS on Friday evening here. Damien Cox is such a knob - basically crapping on the Flames and says he doesn't see them as a threat in the West. He basically hated to admit the Flames would make it into the playoffs this year. There aren't many Eastern based sports commentators that think the Flames will do much this year. Will be fun to watch the Flames prove them all wrong.

ICYMI last night Damien Cox accidentally tweeted an attempted slide into the DMs and now he's locked his account.

He quickly made his Twitter account private after that.

It's really absurd how much better the Hawks and Wild have performed compared to the rest of the Central this year. You've been conditioned to think of that division as a powerhouse but it's really just those two teams this year, the rest is no better than the Pacific.

The Flames certainly have one of the hardest rows to hoe! Will test their mettle for sure.

Definitely, but I do not like the Edmonton or Anaheim schedule either. I wouldn't want to play the canucks for the last two games of the season to play spoiler and other than that Edmonton's looks similar to ours. Anaheim is in tough also.

We may not have an amazing record going into the playoffs (if we make it) 9-6 or 8-7, but we will be battle tested with elimination games.
