Default Cheap dry cleaning in Calgary

Anyone know where I can find some? The closest place to my house charges:

shirt - $3.50
pants - $10.00
tie - $10.00
suit - $22.00

They give a 20% discount if you bring in 8 pieces, but the discount isn't applied to shirts. bleh!

I've heard there are places in town that charge around $2 a shirt. Anyone know of any?

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I've getting sick of paying $3.50 a shirt.

Anyone know of a cheaper place?

That's pretty much on course. Chances are a 2 dollar shirt service is gonna do a crappy job

If the prices quoted in this thread are correct than the price of dry cleaning a shirt hasn't gone up at all in 3 years? If you're paying 2009 prices for anything 2012 you should be giddy with glee.

Man I'm getting ripped off if that's what your paying to dryclean. Place I go to charges $3.95 for laundered shirts, and $7.95 to dryclean them.

Anyone know a place that provides pressing service?

Yes, that thought did occur to me. Just seems like a ripoff still, so I hoped for something cheaper.

bump.

I just called a place down the street and they said they clean suits for $23.00 and blazer for $11.00.

Not a bad deal methinks...but like everything else, aren't we all looking for the best deal?! What do CP'ers pay for suits and blazers and pants?

Peerless Cleaners (I think that's their name) has the cheapest price in town: $2.09 per shirt (5 shirts per visit minimum) and $6.99 per jacket/pants/sweater.

They are located on the corner of Crowchild and Kensington Road. The only downside is that they require a 2 business-day turnaround.
