What a laser.
Big hit by Carlson on Malkin to set that all up.

It's been said a million times before but boy oh boy are these two GENERATIONAL players a treat to watch.
Ovi will never have Crosby's pts/game, but no one can score goals like Ovi can.

They also both play a grinding style which translates better in the playoffs than say skating a million miles an hour at all times.

It's a nice treat to have the only generational players in these playoffs both in the same series!

NO idea how that found a way in. Especially with the way Lundquist has been playing, this game. Unreal. Good for the Sens and Karlsson.

Sens catch a break, draw first blood. Their captain plays hero again.

The Karlsson goal: proof positive why there's no such thing as a bad shot in the playoffs.

Catch a break?... they played a great game...well deserved victory!
The Karlsson goal??... that was 100% intentional ... one of the best goals I've seen in a long time!

Yeah, they played well. I'm not talking about the overall game. Both teams were great.
There's 2 things I consider a good break. 1) the Karlsson GWG, 2) Surviving the PK while the Rags pulled the goalie in the dying stages.

Karlsson aimed that shot perfectly ... I'm still amazed ... how many players (especially D) can make that shot????... amazing!!

We all know Karlsson's a tremendous player, no argument there, and good on him for firing that shot, but that shot also took a double deflection first off Stepan, then off Lundqvist before going in.
