Yikes! Dinos destroying the Golden Bears tonight.
“@UCDinos: Just over two minutes left. Score is 71-3 Dinos. #Kickoff2014”

When was the last time Bears beat Dinos?
Shoot, when was the last time the score was close?

Happy to have several thousands students at the game, but gosh the Bears are awful.
At least the game on Shaw (Sask vs Man) was a bit back and forth until the Huskies took control in the 3rd.

I don't recall a close game for 3 or 4 years and I don't think Alberta's won since like 2008.

UofA is now on a 26 game losing streak.
UofC went 8-0 last year in conference games, losing only to Laval in the Vanier.
It was the classic mismatch, and to be honest, could have been much, much worse. The Dinos were so dominant in that second quarter, put away many celebratory beers watching that game!

The Dinos football team at the University of Calgary has had to forfeit a game because two of its players were ineligible.
Head coach Blake Nill says it was an administrative error and the players didn't have the proper academic requirements.
"The big thing that's disappointing about this is that the document that showed they were ineligible was rung-in in July and August and if we would have been informed about it at that point something could have been done to fix this very easily."
The Dinos' 71-3 victory on Sep. 5 will now be officially recorded as a 1-0 win for the Alberta Golden Bears. Nill says the two players and the whole team are devastated.

Calgary is now tied at 3-1 with the University of Saskatchewan in Canada West. The same thing happened to Queens earlier this year in a game against Windsor.

And the Dinos are having difficulty finding their stride against Manitoba right now. 23-14 Bisons nearing the end of the first half.

Its nice watching a football game with no commercials or ads plastered all over the turf. The McMahon field has never looked better.

9 to 0 in turnovers. What a disastrous performance by the Dinos.

Just shows you how good the Dinos are when they can have 9 turnovers and still be in the game.
Hardy needed to make that catch

The defense surely did their part to even keep it within range up to the end. The offense pooped the bed big time.

I've seen that movie at McMahon before (it was about a year ago).

sucks the Dinos lost to Bisons because it is teir chance not to face Laval if they go into Vanier Cup. I guess we won't see them in Vanier Cup now.

That was a great, great game for the Uteck bowl. Way better than any CFL playoffs games so far
Glad to see that there's finally a team to compete with Laval in Quebec now. Great crowd in Montreal.
