And still the Jays accomplish nothing. Still 9 games behind Boston and 5 from 2nd wild card...
Need to start winning some series, splits don't do much good.

That's the attendance, not how many runs we scored in the 7th.

@ArdenZwelling: Troy Tulowitzki hurt his groin during his final at-bat Friday night. He's likely out of the Blue Jays lineup for rest of the weekend.

Haha. Jays down 1 to 0 in the top of 8.
They have one hit off Salazar who hadnt pitched since May.
In comes unhittable Andrew Miller and Smoak takes his first pitch yard.
Hahaha

Well at least all the pending free agents are sucking and playing like garbage. That way we can get nothing valuable in return for them amidst this season of horror. Estrada especially picked a great time to turn into a pumpkin.

Why can't the Jays have nice things this year?

Too many injuries, too slow, too old, too one-dimensional
Stroman, Smoak, and Osuna the only bright spots

Can't believe this is a near bottom-feeding MLB team this year.
Forget about bad luck, this team just flat out stinks. Nothing left to do but sell a few bodies and play out the string. They're done like dinner.
Bad team is no good.

What's most frustrating is we knew all that except injuries, and even the injuries (obviously not quite to this degree) were to be expected. They soaked one more year out of the "championship caliber" roster that simply wasn't there and now we're in the painful period where everyone has come around to the reality but the former assets have now fallen off to nothings.
Now the rebuild starts without the horses to sell off. Probably could have shaved at least a couple years off with an honest approach to the team's position. But as attendance has indicated this season, the short term business decision was made, and will be considered a success to shareholders.

I doubt a rebuild is coming.
A retool probably but I doubt JD is getting traded anytime soon.
Also the FO knew the weaknesses the team had and tried to address some of them. Cant force UFAs to sign with you and pouring huge money into bullpen arms isnt a great strategy.
One good thing is lots of dead money coming off the books this off season. Hopefully they can better utilize it going forward.

Off the top of my head, Estrada and Liriano
