Not sure if they changed it or not but it used to be pretty crappy. A 20 year annuity paying out $50k a year.... You could take it as a lump sum but it was only worth like $400k or $500k.
I know for that Wendy's kick for a million, the first guy who won it got stuck with that. They changed it a year later to where you get the $1mil right away.

I very very rarely complain about play by play guys as they are usually somewhere in the middle because fan bases of opposing teams both complain about biases during the same game.
However, Rod Black simply shouldn't be doing CFL football. It is clearly above his head. He makes so many mistakes and instead of correcting them he compounds them. Its hard to watch/listen to.
He has called Greg Ellingson...Greg Ellingston about 20 times already...even when they are showing a close up of him with his name on the screen and it spelled out plain as day.
Dude is just really poor at his job.

Im kinda same but he is really bad.
Another night and day example was last week Als vs Stamps. Als were like 2nd and 8 on their own 5 yard line, they clearly got the 1st down by a yard or two and he says they are short and will have to kick. No measurements or anything, refs move the sticks and he goes "oh they got the first down"...i was like really dude? you just figured it out?

That was an impressive comeback by the Esks, and an equally impressive choke by the Ti-Cats. They sure went from Grey Cup contenders to complete choke artist pretenders pretty fast eh?
Reffing aside, it's been a really entertaining start to the season this year. Lots of scoring and close games, this sure beats the start of last season, both CFL and NFL.

I think he's mentally afraid to get hit and he's thinking about that everytime he takes a snap.
The interview after the game with him really showed his mind set. You could see that there were a million things that he wanted to say and he was biting his tongue.
Austin is a big problem there, you can really be that mercurial angry coach in college. But in the CFL it doesn't work for long.
